Journalist Ronan Folgoas’ book on the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar continues to redistribute the cards. Among the elements of which he speaks, the testimony of Louis Jubillar, the eldest son of the couple born in 2014.
On March 17, the journalist from Parisian Ronan Folgoas published a book called “The Jubillar mystery, investigation at the heart of a disappearance” in which he speaks in particular of different testimonies that he managed to collect during his research. He also had access to numerous documents, including the report of one of the interrogations carried out with Louis Jubillar, the eldest son of Cédric and Delphine. When he spoke to an investigator following the disappearance of his mother on the night of December 15 to 16, 2020, Louis would have started by confide in his feelings since the birth of his little sister Elyah in 2019. The arrival of this second child indeed redirected part of her parents’ attention towards her, which gave Louis Jubillar the impression of being abandoned by his parents. But this is not the only subject that the young boy has addressed.
Louis Jubillar also spoke about his parents’ arguments, which the interviewer asked him to describe, what the child did. “That is to say, they shout while talking” he explained before answering another question from the investigator who wanted to know what he did while his parents argued. “Well, I play. And also, when I don’t know what to do, well, I separate them and I put them like that“. And Louis Jubillar to stretch out his arms to accompany the gesture to the word. After this answer, the investigator wanted to know what the young boy said to them in these moments. “Calm down“he replied simply. Simple but meaningful words that paint an already rather precise image of the home in which Louis Jubillar grew up.
The contradictory version of Louis Jubillar
When it comes to the night of the disappearance, however, Ronan Folgoas’ book returns to conflicting testimony with another already given by little Louis Jubillar. In the book “The Jubillar mystery, investigation at the heart of a disappearance”the journalist of Parisian quotes what Louis said to the investigator in the report he was able to consult. And according to these elements, Cédric and Delphine Jubillar would not have argued the evening of the disappearance. “There’s mom and dad who didn’t argue. They spoke well. (…) I went to bed… and they didn’t shout. Because I heard them”. According to a different testimony, Louis Jubillar would have heard his mother scream “stop, stop” the evening of December 15, 2020. It remains to restore the truth and to disentangle the true from the false in the words of a upset little boy who finds himself in a real nightmare.
