Didier Drogba: his son Isaac missing, he evaporated in curious circumstances

Since the beginning of January 2022, Isaac, the son of Didier Drogba, has not given any sign of life. A disappearance that particularly worries his football club, where he had just signed.

In September 2021, Isaac Drogba, the eldest son of Didier Drogba and Lalla Diakité signed at the Academica, a Portuguese football club located in the city of Coimbra. After just three appearances on the pitch with his new team, the 21-year-old has suddenly vanished. A gesture that cannot be explained on the part of the son of the former Ivorian international.

Miguel Carvalho, who coaches the U23s at the Academy, recently confided in the columns of the Portuguese media ZeroZero. “He stayed with us for a short time. At some point, in January I believe, he came to see me and told me that he had school exams in France, where he registered. We agreed on a return date and he never came back. As we speak, we haven’t had any news” he explained, still in misunderstanding.

Isaac Drogba never returned to his accommodation.

After his departure from Portugal, Isaac Drogba would not be never returned to his accommodation which he shared with Matheus Palmério. The latter has little hope that he will return one day and recover his belongings. “Isaac lived with us for a few months, we welcomed him, he told us he was going to spend a weekend with his family in France and he didn’t come back. Honestly, I don’t even know if he’ll come back” he confided.

For the time being, nothing explains the sudden disappearance of the young man and Didier Drogba has not yet expressed himself on this subject. His trainer regrets this hasty departurehe told the Portuguese media “The difference is that he didn’t need to work to earn money at a higher level. However, in general, it is those who really want it who succeed“. For him, Isaac Drogba would be “a little rested on his achievements“, an attitude he regrets since he was very promising.
