Energy check: here’s who will receive it this week

The shipments of energy check are continuing. Since Monday April 11, 2022, and until Thursday 14, the Ministry of Ecological Transition has been sending the 3rd salvo of this boost intended for supporting low-income households in this period of rising energy prices.

The departments concerned are as follows: Eure, Gironde (3rd shipment), Isère (4th shipment), Loir-et-Cher, Orne, Bas-Rhin excluding Strasbourg (2nd shipment), Paris, Seine-Maritime, Yvelines, Deux-Sèvres (2nd shipment), Essonne, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, Val-de-Marne, Val-d’Oise, Guadeloupe (3rd shipment), Guyana (2nd shipment), Réunion (3rd shipment).

Between two and four days to receive the mail

Attention, “depending on the hazards, in particular of routing”, the energy checks could arrive the following week, insist the authorities. It takes on average between two and four days to receive the mail after it has been sent.

Between 48 and 277 euros

The energy check is paid to 5.8 million French and reached this year between 48 to 277 euros. It is paid according to the reference tax income and the number of people in the household.

You don’t have to do anything, everything is automatic. All you need to do is file your tax return with the tax services the previous year. You will receive it by La Poste, directly at your home.

It allows you to pay energy bills (electricity, gas, heating oil or other heating fuels), and also certain expenses related to the energy renovation of the dwelling and carried out by a certified professional (such as the insulation of the attic) .

The next due date for payment of this check is scheduled for April 19 and the 5th and last on April 25.
