Available since April 5, Lego Stars Wars: The Skywalker Saga looks set to break all license records. Well received by most critics, the title is made up of enormous content, which covers the nine films of the saga.

In the UK alone, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the second best start of the year behind Pokémon Legends: Arceus ahead of Elden Ring, while enjoying a few extra hours of sales.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – A flying start

A start that is all the more impressive as this data concerns only the physical market. A fun little detail, the success of the title has visibly boosted sales of LEGO Harry Potter: Collection, released six years ago. Like many titles, LEGO Stars Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been featuring a limited physical edition, the Deluxe versionwhich includes the boxed game, six character packs, and a small LEGO character (minifig), representing Luke Skywalker holding a carton of blue milk.

A figurine unpublished, which arouses the greed of the players. For the moment, this edition is still available at Leclerc and on the official LEGO website, but stocks seem already exhausted at other retailers.

Luke Skywalker attracts scalpers

These stock shortages are probably due to the number of deluxe editions manufactured, but this is obviously not the only cause. You would have understood it, the scalpers are back. As is often the case when something is new or rare, they flock to online sales sites, which creates ruptures and what makes increase resale prices.

Anyone who’s tried to get a PS5 or Xbox Series since launch has faced sky-high prices on eBay and other sites, and desperately empty shelves, online or in-store. In the case of LEGO Stars Wars: The Skywalker Saga, it is the minifigure of Luke Skywalker which is currently at the heart of a speculation which is growing.

On eBay there are currently dozens and dozens of successful sales of the figurine, for prices ranging from 35 to more than 100€. Some extremely rare LEGO figurines sometimes go for much higher prices, but here, scalpers aim straight for stock of deluxe physical versions of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, obviously in order to obtain this exclusive minifig. However, if you simply wish to acquire the standard physical versionyou should have no problem finding a copy.
