The entire entrance to the Salon de Lyon is dedicated to electric cars, with a large display showing that there is now a wide variety of trendy models, from the low-cost Dacia Spring city car to the super-powerful Audi RS e-tron GT.
The Show is also an opportunity to discover several new products. At Kia, there is a European premiere of the second generation of the Niro. If the vehicle still exists in simple hybrid and rechargeable hybrid, the most important variant in France is the electric, with a single technical configuration: 204 hp and 64.8 kWh battery, for a range of 463 km.

Volkswagen is exhibiting the ID.5 for the first time in France, the coupe version of the ID.4 SUV, available in 174, 204 and 299 hp. With a 77 kWh battery, it announces a range of up to 513 km. Another French first: the Skoda Enyaq Coupé, cousin of the ID.5, present on the stand in its muscular RS version, with 300 hp.

At Nissan, we can finally approach and board the Ariya, a 4.60 meter crossover based on the CMF-EV platform. It will be in dealerships this summer. In Lyon, it faces the electric Mégane, with which it shares its CMF-EV platform. At Renault, we can also have a taste of the future thanks to the presence of the concept which announces the next electric R5 and is a great success with visitors.

The show is also an opportunity to discover new brands on the electric market, with for example Aiways and MG, the latter exhibiting the MG 5 station wagon.
