On the sidelines of the launch of its Livebox 6, Orange is revising upwards the maximum download and upload speed for its new and old subscribers to the “Livebox Fiber” offer.
By launching its Livebox 6 equipped with WiFi 6E on April 7, Orange is expanding its range by now displaying three fiber and ADSL offers, compared to two previously. While all eyes are now on the operator’s new baby at an increased price, an increase in speed has been made on its cheapest offer called “Livebox Fibre”.
Download and upload speeds increase to 500 Mbits/s against 400 Mbits/s until now. On the price side, no change, it will always be necessary to count 22.99 € / month the first year then 41.99 € / month, with a commitment of 12 months. This subscription includes the Livebox 5 and an Ultra HD 4K decoder on demand requiring €40 activation fee (140 channels). At the same price, the competition offers more speed (1 Gbit/s or more). Note that Sosh fiber subscribers can now take advantage of Livebox 5.
